Suji Breakfast
(Note : tsp
stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Boiled Potatoes-4,
- Semolina (Suji Rava)-1 cup,
- Boiled Green Peas-1/2 cup,
- Onion-1,
- Carrot-1,
- Green Chilli-1,
- Ginger-1 inch,
- Coriander leaves,
- Curry leaves
- Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
- Mustard seeds-1 tsp,
- Ajwain (Carom Seeds)-1/2 tsp,
- Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp,
- Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp,
- Garam Masala Powder-1/2 tsp,
- Chat Masala-1 tsp,
- Salt and Cooking oil
Method
- Take 2 cup water in a pan
- Add 1/2 tsp ajwain, salt, 1 tsp oil and 1 cup semolina (Suji)
- Cook for 3 to 4 mins on medium flame
- Take it out in a plate and let it to cool down
- Take one spoon oil in the pan and heat it
- Add 1 tsp cumin seeds,1 tsp mustard and curry leaves
- Add onion and green chilli
- Cook for 1 to 2 mins on medium flame
- Add carrot and ginger
- Cook for 1 to 2 mins on medium flame
- Add boiled green peas and mix it
- Add boiled potatoes and mix it
- Add 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chat masala, salt and mix it
- Cook for 2 to 3 mins on medium flame
- Add coriander leaves and mix it
- Take it out in a plate
- Leave it for sometimes to cool down
- Make balls of semolina (Suji) mix
- Roll it
- Fill masala stuffing and fold from all sides
- Press it
- Put some oil in pan and put roll
- Keep the flame medium and cook it
- Apply some oil over it and turn it
- Apply some oil on the other side
- Cook it till it turns golden color
- Take it out in a plate
- It's ready. Enjoy
