Matar Ke Appe


(Note : tsp stands for table spoon) 

Ingredients

  • Fresh Green Peas-1 cup,
  • Ginger-1 inch,
  • Red Chilli-2,
  • Cinnamon-2 pc,
  • Cardamom-2 pc,
  • Cloves-5 pc,
  • Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
  • Salt, Oil,
  • Suji(rava)-2 spoon,
  • Rice Flour-2 spoon,
  • Black Pepper-1 tsp,
  • Red Chilli Flakes-1 tsp

Method

  • Take 1 spoon oil in the pan and heat it
  • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and red chilli
  • Add green peas, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and salt and mix it
  • Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
  • Once peas becomes soft, turn off the flame
  • Take it out in a plate and let it cool down
  • Put it in the mixer jar and grind it
  • Take it out in a bowl
  • Add 2 spoon rava, 2 spoon rice flour, salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp red chilli flakes and mix it
  • Leave it for 5 mins
  • Now make small balls of it
  • Heat appe pan, put little oil in all then put balls
  • Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
  • Turn it and cook it on medium flame till it turns golden color
  • Turn off the flame and serve it
  • It's ready. Enjoy
