Matar Ke Appe
(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Fresh Green Peas-1 cup,
- Ginger-1 inch,
- Red Chilli-2,
- Cinnamon-2 pc,
- Cardamom-2 pc,
- Cloves-5 pc,
- Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
- Salt, Oil,
- Suji(rava)-2 spoon,
- Rice Flour-2 spoon,
- Black Pepper-1 tsp,
- Red Chilli Flakes-1 tsp
Method
- Take 1 spoon oil in the pan and heat it
- Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and red chilli
- Add green peas, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and salt and mix it
- Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
- Once peas becomes soft, turn off the flame
- Take it out in a plate and let it cool down
- Put it in the mixer jar and grind it
- Take it out in a bowl
- Add 2 spoon rava, 2 spoon rice flour, salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp red chilli flakes and mix it
- Leave it for 5 mins
- Now make small balls of it
- Heat appe pan, put little oil in all then put balls
- Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
- Turn it and cook it on medium flame till it turns golden color
- Turn off the flame and serve it
- It's ready. Enjoy
