Mumbai Style Tawa Pulao


(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)

Ingredients

  • Boiled Basmati Rice-2 cup,
  • Onion-2,
  • Spring Onion-1/4 cup,
  • Coriander Leaves-1/4 cup,
  • Lemon-1/2,
  • Green Chilli-1,
  • Boiled Potatoes-3,
  • Tomato-2,
  • Peas-1 cup
  • Pav Bhaji Masala-2 tsp,
  • Red Chilli Powder-2 tsp,
  • Cumin Powder-1 tsp,
  • Turmeric Powder-1 tsp,
  • Coriander Powder-1 tsp,
  • Garam Masala Powder-1 tsp,
  • Pepper Powder-1 tsp,
  • Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
  • Salt,
  • Oil,

Method

  • Take 2 tsp oil in a pan and heat it
  • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds, green chilli, onion and cook for 2 mins on medium flame
  • Add tomato and mix it
  • Cook for 5 mins on medium flame
  • Add 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp pepper powder,2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder and 2 tsp pav bhaji masala and mix it
  • Add boiled potatoes, spring onion and peas
  • Mix it and cook for 2 mins on medium flame
  • Add salt and mix it
  • Add boiled rice and mix it
  • Add garam masala powder, salt and lemon juice
  • Mix it and cook for 1 min on medium flame
  • Add coriander leaves and mix it
  • It's ready. Enjoy
