Matar Paratha

(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)

Ingredients

  • Fresh Green Peas-1 cup,
  • Wheat Flour-2 cup,
  • Ginger-1 inch,
  • Red Chilli-2,
  • Cinnamon-2 pc,
  • Cardamom-2 pc,
  • Cloves-5 pc,
  • Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
  • Salt,
  • Oil

Method

  • Take 1 spoon oil in the pan and heat it
  • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and red chilli
  • Add green peas, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and salt and mix it
  • Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
  • once peas becomes soft, turn off the flame
  • Take it out in a plate and let it cool down
  • Put it in the mixer jar and grind it
  • Take it out in a plate
  • Take wheat flour in a bowl, add salt and mix it
  • Add a little water and knead its soft dough
  • Make balls
  • Take a ball and put some dry flour on it and roll it
  • Fill Peas Masala stuffing
  • Fold from all side
  • Put some dry flour and roll it
  • Heat tawa, put the paratha
  • Cook on medium flame
  • Turn it and apply oil
  • Turn it and apply oil on the other side
  • Take it out in a plate
  • It's ready. Enjoy
