Matar Paratha
(Note : tsp
stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Fresh Green Peas-1 cup,
- Wheat Flour-2 cup,
- Ginger-1 inch,
- Red Chilli-2,
- Cinnamon-2 pc,
- Cardamom-2 pc,
- Cloves-5 pc,
- Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
- Salt,
- Oil
Method
- Take 1 spoon oil in the pan and heat it
- Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and red chilli
- Add green peas, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and salt and mix it
- Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
- once peas becomes soft, turn off the flame
- Take it out in a plate and let it cool down
- Put it in the mixer jar and grind it
- Take it out in a plate
- Take wheat flour in a bowl, add salt and mix it
- Add a little water and knead its soft dough
- Make balls
- Take a ball and put some dry flour on it and roll it
- Fill Peas Masala stuffing
- Fold from all side
- Put some dry flour and roll it
- Heat tawa, put the paratha
- Cook on medium flame
- Turn it and apply oil
- Turn it and apply oil on the other side
- Take it out in a plate
- It's ready. Enjoy
