Soya Keema
(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Soya Chunks-1 cup,
- Frozen Peas-1/2 cup,
- Onion-2,
- Tomato-2,
- Green Chilli-2,
- Coriander Leaves,
- Star anise-1,
- Cinnamom-1
- Cloves-2,
- Cardamom-1
- Curd-2 tbs,
- Oil-3 tbs
- Salt,
- Red Chilli Powder-1 tbs,
- Coriander Powder-1 tbs,
- Turmeric Powder-1 tbs,
- Fenugreek leaves-1 tbs,
- Cumin Seeds-1 tbs,
- Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 tbs,
- Garam Masala Powder-1/2 tbs
Method
- Put hot water in soya chunk, leave it for 10 minutes so that the soya chunks will become soft.
- By pressing it by hand ,we will drain out all the water from it.
- Now we will put it in a jar of mixie and grind it.
- Pour oil into the pan and heat it.
- Add star anise, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cumin seeds
- Add onion and mix it
- We will cook the onion on medium flame for 2 minutes
- Add tomato and green chilli.
- Add salt and mix it. Cover it and cook to 5 minutes on medium flame.
- If you want to make vegetables quickly, you can use tomato paste instead of chopped tomato
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste and red chilli powder
- Mix it and cook to it for 1 minutes
- Add soya chunks and frozen peas and mix it
- Add salt and garam masala powder and mix it.
- Cook on medium flame for 2 minutes
- Add 1/2 glass water and mix it.
- Cover it and cook for the 5 minutes on medium flame
- Turn off the flame.
- Add fenugreek leaves and curd and mix it
- Turn on the flame and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame
- Add 1 tbs ghee. This is optional, you can skip it if you want .
- Add coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
- Its ready. Enjoy
