Schezwan sauce




(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)

Ingredients:

  • Dry Red Chilli-50 gm
  • Ginger-2 inch
  • Garlic-10 cloves
  • Oil-5 tsp
  • Tomato Ketchup-2 tsp
  • Dark Soya Sauce-2 tsp
  • Vinegar-2 tsp
  • Salt

 Method

  • First put half a glass of water in chilli, cover it and leave for 30 minutes 
  • It will become soft
  • Now put it in the jar of mixie.
  • Add water and make a paste
  • Now take cooking oil in a pan and heat it
  • Add garlic, ginger and one minute cook on medium flame
  • Add chilli paste and mix it and 5 minutes cook on medium flame
  • Add 2 tsp Vinegar, 2 tsp Soya sauce, 2 tsp Tomato ketchup, salt and water
  • Mix it, cover it and cook it on low flame for 10 minutes
  • It is ready and turn off the flame
