Sabudana Khichdi


(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)

Ingredients:

  • Sago (sabudana)-1 cup,
  • Boiled Potato-4,
  • Green Chilli-2,
  • Ginger-1 inch,
  • Coriander Leaves-1/4 cup,
  • Oil-2 tsp,
  • Roasted Peanut-1/2 cup,
  • Salt,
  • Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
  • Fenugreek-1 tsp
  • and Chaat Masala-1 tsp

 Method

  • First wash sabudana well with two water, then soak it in water for 4 hours and drain out the excess water
  • Let's start making khichdi.
  • We will first cut the potato.
  • Crush the peanut
  • Heat a pan and add 2 tsp oil
  • Add cumin seeds, fenugreek, ginger and green chilli
  • Add boiled potato and salt and mix well
  • We will cook the potato on the medium flame for 2 minutes
  • Add sago (sabudana), salt and chatt masala and mix well
  • Cook the sago to the medium flame for 2 minutes
  • Add peanut and mix well, add coriander leaves
  • It is ready
