Papri Chaat
(Note : tbsp stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Papri -10 pieces
- Dried peas -1 cup
- Onion -2,
- Tomato -2
- Coriander Leaves -1/4 cup
- Green Chilli -2
- Masala
- Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
- Salt,
- Oil-2 tsp,
- Cumin Powder-1 tsp,
- Coriander Powder-1 tsp,
- Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp,
- Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 tsp,
- Turmeric Powder-1 tsp and
- Garam Masala Powder-1 tsp
Method
- Soak Peas overnight in water.
- Next day, boil peas in a pressure cooker with 2 glass water and salt
- Close the lid. Boil it for 3 to 4 whistle on medium flame
- Turn off the flame. Let it cool down
- Now Heat oil in pan
- Add cumin seeds, green chilli and fry it for 30 seconds on medium flame
- Add chopped onion and cook until golden brown
- Add ginger garlic paste, tomato and salt and mix well
- Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and red chilli powder
- Fry it for 5 minutes on medium flame
- Add boiled peas and fry it for 1 minutes on medium flame
- It is ready and turn off the flame
- Put papri and chat in serving plate
- Add green chutney, tamarind chutney, chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, curd -1 tsp, black salt, chat masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder, sev bhujiya, and pomegranate seeds
