Methi Laccha Paratha


 Ingredients 

  • Wheat Flour-2 cup,
  • Fenugreek Leaves-1 cup,
  • Ghee-4 spoon,
  • Carom Seeds-1 spoon,
  • Salt

 

Method

  • Chop the fenugreek leaves first
  • Put wheat flour, finely chopped fenugreek leaves and carman seeds in the bowl
  • Add salt, 2 spoon ghee and mix it
  • Add water and knead it to dough
  • Take a small portion of dough and roll in the ball shape
  • Dust it with little flour and press and Roll it
  • Apply ghee on it
  • Put flour on the ghee side
  • Fold the inside and the top side outside
  • Similarly once inside and one outside
  • Pleat it like a paper fan as shown in video
  • Apply some ghee on it too
  • And fold it
  • Putting the last part of it inward and press it
  • Put little bit of flour and roll it
  • Heat tawa
  • Apply some ghee on the tawa and place the paratha on it
  • Cook it on the medium flame
  • Flip it and apply ghee
  • Flip it again and apply ghee on the other side
  • Cook this medium flame
  • Once paratha turned to golden in color from both sides, take it out in the plate and serve.
