Aloo Tikki Chaat

 


(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)


Ingredients

  • Boiled Potato-4,
  • Dried Peas-1 cup,
  • Onion-2, Tomato-2,
  • Coriander Leaves-1/4 cup
  • Green Chilli-2,
  • Cumin Seeds-1 tsp, Salt,
  • Oil-2 tsp, Cumin Powder-1 tsp,
  • Coriander Powder-1 tsp,
  • Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp,
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 tsp,
  • Turmeric Powder-1 tsp and
  • Garam Masala Powder-1 tsp

 

Method

  • Soak dried peas overnight in water
  • Boil dried peas in a pressure cooker with 2 glass water and salt for 3 to 4 whistle on medium flame. 
  • Turn off the flame
  • Now heat oil in the pan
  • Add cumin seeds, green chilli and fry it for 30 seconds on medium flame
  • Add onion and cook until it turns golden brown
  • Add ginger garlic paste, tomato, salt and mix well
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and red chilli powder
  • Mix well and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
  • Add boiled peas and cook for 1 minutes on medium flame
  • Your Chaat is ready
  • Boil potatoes, and peel it.
  • Add salt, 1 tbs red chilli powder, and 1/2 tbs garam masala powder and mix it
  • Make small ball, put in a plate and press it to make tikki.
  • Now take 1 spoon oil to the tawa and heat it
  • Put Tikki and cook it from both side. 
  • Your tikki is ready. 
  • Now take tikkis in a plate. 
  • Put chaat over it
  • Add tamarind chutney, curd, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, black salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder, sev bhujiya and pomegranate seeds
  • Tikki chat is ready, Enjoy.
