Aloo Tikki Chaat
(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Boiled Potato-4,
- Dried Peas-1 cup,
- Onion-2, Tomato-2,
- Coriander Leaves-1/4 cup
- Green Chilli-2,
- Cumin Seeds-1 tsp, Salt,
- Oil-2 tsp, Cumin Powder-1 tsp,
- Coriander Powder-1 tsp,
- Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp,
- Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 tsp,
- Turmeric Powder-1 tsp and
- Garam Masala Powder-1 tsp
Method
- Soak dried peas overnight in water
- Boil dried peas in a pressure cooker with 2 glass water and salt for 3 to 4 whistle on medium flame.
- Turn off the flame
- Now heat oil in the pan
- Add cumin seeds, green chilli and fry it for 30 seconds on medium flame
- Add onion and cook until it turns golden brown
- Add ginger garlic paste, tomato, salt and mix well
- Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and red chilli powder
- Mix well and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
- Add boiled peas and cook for 1 minutes on medium flame
- Your Chaat is ready
- Boil potatoes, and peel it.
- Add salt, 1 tbs red chilli powder, and 1/2 tbs garam masala powder and mix it
- Make small ball, put in a plate and press it to make tikki.
- Now take 1 spoon oil to the tawa and heat it
- Put Tikki and cook it from both side.
- Your tikki is ready.
- Now take tikkis in a plate.
- Put chaat over it
- Add tamarind chutney, curd, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, black salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder, sev bhujiya and pomegranate seeds
- Tikki chat is ready, Enjoy.
