शाही दम आलू | Learn Shahi Dum Aloo in just 3 mins | Terrace Kitchen | Indian Restaurant Style Potato Curry


(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)

Ingredients

  • Potato-400 gms,
  • Tomato-2,
  • Onion-2,
  • Cashew-15,
  • Tajpatta-2,
  • Green Chilli-1,
  • Ginger-1 inch,
  • Black Pepper-10,
  • Cloves-5,
  • Cardamom-2,
  • Cinnamon-1,
  • Royal Cumin-1/2 tsp,
  • Curd-4 spoon,
  • Coriander Powder-1 tsp,
  • Cumin Powder-1/2 tsp,
  • Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp,
  • Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp,
  • Salt and cooking oil

Method

  • Peel potatoes, cut into pieces and make holes using fork
  • Take tomatoes in a jar
  • Add cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, cloves, green chilli, ginger, cashew, 4 spoon curd and grind it
  • Take potatoes in a bowl
  • Add stuff, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt and mix it
  • Cover it and leave it for 15 mins
  • Take 2 spoon oil in a pan and heat it
  • Add 1/2 tsp royal cumin, tajpatta and onion
  • Cook for 2 mins on medium flame
  • Add potato and mix it
  • Cook for 2 mins on high flame
  • Add 1/2 glass water and mix it
  • Cover it and cook for 12 to 15 mins on medium flame
  • Turn off the flame and serve it
  • It's ready. Enjoy
