Chicken Curry
(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Chicken-500 gms,
- Onion-3,
- Tomato-2,
- Coriander leaves,
- Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp,
- Cashew-12 to 15,
- Curd-2 spoon,
- Oil-4 spoon,
- Black pepper-1/2 tsp,
- Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp,
- Cumin powder-1 tsp,
- Coriander powder-1 tsp,
- Turmeric powder-2 tsp,
- Kashmiri red chilli powder-2 tsp
- and salt
Method
- Wash chicke and then add curd, 1 tbs red chilli powder, 1/2 tbs turmeric powder, 1/2 tbs salt and mix it
- Cover it and leave for half an hour
- Now take tomatoes in the mixer jar, add cashew and coriander leaves and grind it
- Now take cooking oil in a pan and heat it
- Add onion and cook for 3 mins on medium flame
- Add tomato and cashew paste
- Mix it and cook for 2 mins on medium flame
- Add ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder
- Mix it and cook for 2 mins on medium flame
- Now add chicken pieces and mix it
- Cook for 5 mins on medium flame
- Add 1 glass water, add salt and mix it
- Covered it and cook for 20 to 25 mins on medium flame
- Once chicken becomes soft, add1/2 tbs garam masala powder, mix it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
- Turn off the flame
- It's ready. Enjoy
