Matar Kochri
(Note : tsp stands for
table spoon)
Ingredients
- Fresh Green Peas-1 cup,
- All purpose Flour (Maida)-2 cup
- Ginger-1 inch,
- Red Chilli-2,
- Cinnamon-2 pc,
- Cardamom-2 pc,
- Cloves-5 pc,
- Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
- Salt and Oil
Method
- Take 1 spoon oil in the pan and heat it
- Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and red chilli
- Add green peas, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, salt and mix it
- Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
- Once peas becomes soft, turn off the flame
- Take it out in a plate and let it cool down
- Put it in the mixer jar and grind it
- Take it out in a bowl
- Take all purpose flour in a bowl,
- Add salt and 2 tsp oil and mix it
- Add a little water and knead its soft dough
- Make balls and fill masala stuffing and fold from all sides and press it
- Heat oil in a pan and fry it on medium flame.
- Cook it till it turns golden color from both sides
- Take it out in a plate.
- It's ready. Enjoy
