Matar Kochri

(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)

Ingredients

  • Fresh Green Peas-1 cup,
  • All purpose Flour (Maida)-2 cup
  • Ginger-1 inch,
  • Red Chilli-2,
  • Cinnamon-2 pc,
  • Cardamom-2 pc,
  • Cloves-5 pc,
  • Cumin Seeds-1 tsp,
  • Salt and Oil

Method

  • Take 1 spoon oil in the pan and heat it
  • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and red chilli
  • Add green peas, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, salt and mix it
  • Cover it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame
  • Once peas becomes soft, turn off the flame
  • Take it out in a plate and let it cool down
  • Put it in the mixer jar and grind it
  • Take it out in a bowl
  • Take all purpose flour in a bowl,
  • Add salt and 2 tsp oil and mix it
  • Add a little water and knead its soft dough
  • Make balls and fill masala stuffing and fold from all sides and press it
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry it on medium flame. 
  • Cook it till it turns golden color from both sides
  • Take it out in a plate.
  • It's ready. Enjoy
