Veg Biryani



(Note : tsp stands for table spoon)

Ingredients:

 For Rice

  • Basmati Rice-200 gm,
  • Cinamom-1,
  • Cardamom-4,
  • Bay Leaves-1,
  • Star Anise-2,
  • Cloves-4 and
  • Green Chilli-1

For Vegetables

  • Cauliflower-1/2 cup,
  • Beans-1/3 Cup,
  • Carrot-1/3 cup,
  • Green Chilli-2,
  • Mint Leaves-1/4 cup,
  • Peas-1/4 cup,
  • Onion-3 and
  • Panner-150 gm

Masala

  • Garlic paste-1 tsp,
  • Ginger paste-1 tsp,
  • Cinnamom-2,
  • Cloves-4,
  • Cardamom-4,
  • Royal Cumin-1 tsp,
  • Red Chilli Powder-1 tsp,
  • Salt,
  • Turmeric Powder-1 tsp,
  • Curd-1/2 cup,
  • Cooking Oil and
  • Saffron

Method

  • Wash rice 
  • Now boil water
  • Add 1 tsp oil,1 tsp salt,1 bay leaves,4 cardamom,1 cinnamon, 4 cloves, 2 star anise and 1 green chilli
  • Now remove all masala from water.
  • Pour Rice in Bowl
  • cook rice upto 80%
  • Now remove water
  • Keep this water for use
  • Pour Curd in a Bowl, Add Carrot, Beans. Cauliflower, Mint, Read Chilli
  • Add garlic paste, ginger paste, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom
  • Add 1 tsp royal cumin, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder and salt
  • Mix it properly
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • We will fry paneer, onion one by one.
  • Take 2 tsp oil in a pan

  • Now fry vegetables for 5 minutes on high flame
  • Add fry onion and mix it.
  • Cover the pan and cook it for 2 minutes in medium flame
  • Add peas and cook it for 1 minutes
  • Vegetable biryani is ready
  • Now take 2 tsp onion oil in a pot
  • Pour rice, vegetables, paneer, rice, fry onion, mint, 5 tsp oil, saffron milk and rice water
  • Cover it
  • Cook for 5 minutes in high flame
  • Veg biryani is ready
