Tasty Spicy Potato Fry Recipe
(Note : tbsp stands for table spoon)
Ingredients
- Boiled Potato-12 pieces,
- Onion-2,
- Tomato-2,
- Coriander Leaves
- Coriander Powder-2 tbsp,
- Turmeric Powder-2 tbsp,
- Red Chilli Powder-2 tbsp,
- Cumin Powder-1 tbsp,
- Garam Masala Powder-1/2 tbsp,
- Salt, Fenugreek Leaves-1 tbsp,
- Black Pepper Powder-1/2 tbsp,
- Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 1/2 tbsp
- Bay Leaves-2,
- Kashmiri Lal Mirch-2,
- Cloves-4,
- Cardamom-2,
- Cinnamon-1inch,
- Oil-4 tsp
Method
- Boil potato in a cooker, peel it, prick it with fork and cut into two half pieces.
- Take 2 tbsp cooking oil in a pan and heat it
- Add boiled potato, turmeric powder,1/2 tsp red chilli powder and salt
- Mix it, fry and take it out in a plate.
- Now cut onion into pieces and fry for 2 minutes in pan on medium flame
- Add tomato and salt
- Mix it and cooked for 2 minutes on medium flame
- Turn Off of the flame and keep it to cool down
- Put it in the jar of mixie and make paste of it
- Now take 2 tbsp oil in the pan and heat it
- Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and red chilli
- Pour paste in frying pan and mix it.
- Cover it and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, pepper powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder
- Mix it and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame
- Add garam masala powder and fenugreek leaves
- Add fried potato and mix and cook it for 1 minutes
- Do not use water
- Now your potato fry is ready, take out in a plate and enjoy
