Matar Panner
Ingredients
- Paneer-200 gm,
- Coconut-1/2,
- Frozen Peas-1 cup,
- Onion-2,
- Tomato-1,
- Ginger-1 inch,
- Garlic-8 cloves,
- Green Chilli-1,
- Salt,
- Turmeric Powder-1 tbsp,
- Oil-2 tbsp,
- Coriander Powder-1 tbsp,
- Cumin Seeds-1 tbsp,
- Red Chilli Powder-2 tbsp,
- Cinnamom-1,
- Cloves-4,
- Cardamom-2,
- Butter-1 tbsp
Method
- Cut the coconut into small pieces
- Put it in a jar of mixi and add a little water and make a paste
- Take it out in the bowl and put some water in it, cover it and keep it for 15 minutes
- After 15 minutes, filter coconut water with the help of a strainer. Here we will use this coconut water
- Now take 2 spoons of oil in the pan and heat it
- Add paneer and fry it
- When paneer is turned golden color from both sides, remove it.
- Now in the fry pan, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and keep the flame medium.
- Add green chilli, garlic, ginger and onion and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add tomato and salt and cover it for 10 minutes on medium flame, then turn off the flame and keep it for 5 minutes to cool down then take in a mixi jar and make a paste.
- Now Put 1 spoon of oil and heat it
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder, mix it and add paste
- Cover it for 7 minutes and keep flame medium
- Add coconut water and mix it
- Cook for 2 minutes on high flame and add peas
- Add paneer and salt
- Cover it and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
- It's ready and turn off the flame
- Add 1 tbsp butter and mix it
- enjoy
