Matar Panner

 


Ingredients

  • Paneer-200 gm,
  • Coconut-1/2,
  • Frozen Peas-1 cup,
  • Onion-2,
  • Tomato-1,
  • Ginger-1 inch,
  • Garlic-8 cloves,
  • Green Chilli-1,
  • Salt,
  • Turmeric Powder-1 tbsp,
  • Oil-2 tbsp,
  • Coriander Powder-1 tbsp,
  • Cumin Seeds-1 tbsp,
  • Red Chilli Powder-2 tbsp,
  • Cinnamom-1,
  • Cloves-4,
  • Cardamom-2,
  • Butter-1 tbsp

 

Method

  • Cut the coconut into small pieces
  • Put it in a jar of mixi and add a little water and make a paste

  • Take it out in the bowl and put some water in it, cover it and keep it for 15 minutes
  • After 15 minutes, filter coconut water with the help of a strainer. Here we will use this coconut water

  • Now take 2 spoons of oil in the pan and heat it
  • Add paneer and fry it
  • When paneer is turned golden color from both sides,  remove it.
  • Now in the fry pan, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and keep the flame medium.

  • Add green chilli, garlic, ginger and onion and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes. 

  • Add tomato and salt and cover it for 10 minutes on medium flame, then turn off the flame and keep it for 5 minutes to cool down then take in a mixi jar and make a paste. 
  • Now Put 1 spoon of oil and heat it
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder, mix it and add paste
  • Cover it for 7 minutes and keep flame medium
  • Add coconut water and mix it
  • Cook for 2 minutes on high flame and add peas
  • Add paneer and salt
  • Cover it and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
  • It's ready and turn off the flame
  • Add 1 tbsp butter and mix it
  • enjoy
