Maida Burfi

 


Ingredients;

  • Refined Flour(Maida)-1 cup
  • Sugar-1 cup
  • Milk Powder-2 spoons
  • Ghee-2 spoons
  • Saffron Milk-1 spoon
  • Cardamom Powder-1/2 tbs

 

Method

  •  Add ghee to the pan and heat it
  • Add refined flour and mix it
  • Cook on the medium flame for 2 minutes
  • When refined flour is roasted, and slight aroma start coming from it, turn off the flame
  • Put sugar in the pan, add some water and and cook it until the sugar melt
  • Add roasted refined flour in small quantity and mix it
  • Make the flame medium and mix it continuously
  • Add milk powder and cardamom powder, saffron milk and mix it
  • Cook on the medium flame for 2 minutes
  • When it is thick, turn off the flame and mix it 2 minutes
  • Put butter paper on the top of the plate
  • Put a little oil on it and grease it well and take the stuff.
  • Apply some oil on the back of the spoon and spread the stuff on the plate.

  • Leave it for 10 minutes to cool down
  • Now take the stuff on another plate in such a way that paper comes on the top of the stuff.

  • Remove the butter paper and cut the stuff into small pieces. 
  • Now your maida burfi is ready, enjoy
