Kadhi Pakoda
Note : tbsp stands for table spoon
Ingredients
- Bengal Gram (Chana Dal)-2 cup,
- Salt, Turmeric Powder,
- Red Chilli-2,
- Cumin Seeds-1 tbsp,
- Fenugreek Seeds-1 tbsp,
- Curd-1/2 cup,
- Cooking Oil
Method
- Take 2 cup of bengal gram, wash it properly, soak it for 4 hours
- After that remove extra water
- Put bengal gram in a mixer jar or grinder and add green chilli and garlic, and grind it
- Put a little bit of water in it
- Now leave it for half an hour and after that add salt and 1 tbsp turmeric powder and mix it.
- Keep some part aside for making curry.
- First we will make pakoda for which Put oil in the pan and heat it
- Now make pakoras and put it in the oil.
- Turn it and cook until it turns golden color then take out in a plate.
- Now take the mix which is saved for use to prepare curry.
- Add 1 tbsp turmeric powder and half glass water and mix it and make a thin solution
- Put 2 spoons of oil in the pan and heat it
- Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and red chilli
- Reduce the flame and put the mix in the pan.
- Now cook it for 1 minutes
- Turn off the flame
- Now add curd in the curry
- Now again turn on the flame, put curry and add 2 glass of water
- Boil it on high flame
- Add salt and pakoras and cook for 3 minutes on medium flame
- Turn off the flame
- Now your Kadhi Pakoda is ready.
